Zeanix was born and raised in Washington State, in a small town south of Tacoma. He was constantly exposed to music from his parents and grandparents, but it wasn't until the day he heard and saw KoRn on MTV that he wanted to become a musician. He would learn to play guitar, piano and sing before joining a local metal band as their singer. Simultaneously, Zeanix was exposed to music making software that focused on electronic music, which is when his venture into the genre began.
Zeanix, despite being quite social with different cliques in high school, struggled to find where his union of goth and kandi kid amalgamated; often finding himself either at a heavy metal concert or a rave. After the fallout from the metal band, Zeanix further explored creating electronic music through vastly dark and unusual song writing.
Eventually, fate would bring him to Copenhagen, Denmark, where he was able to complete his first album in 2019, ODDiO, which featured a mixture of old and new compositions. ODDiO, although not so apparent, is an album that not only explores genres, but identities. With so much music being boxed into one genre, Zeanix wanted to explore the dark and light, ambient, trip-hop, industrial, progressive house and endless weird and groovy music within the electronic spectrum.
In 2024, Zeanix decided to take on a similar ideology, but with a little more focus. His second album, Square^2 explored the various genres of electronic music that influenced him. With themes that focused on 4s, the light spectrum, it was ultimately the passing of a friend years before at a rave that really gave meaning and message to the album. Zeanix was able to include the talents of long time friend Jason Charles Miller, as well as Ariana Celaeno, Tora Hedges, Honey-B-Sweet, Maya Miko, 9Eleven and Yona Marie to help tell the true story of a fun night at a rave that turned to tragedy and the recovery and reflection that came from it.
